Skill programming is incorporated in a variety of different training scenarios and drills based on Softball Canada's instruction. All sessions will be catered to the group and their skill development.
Students are enrolled in all of the core academic courses, as prescribed by Manitoba Education and Training. Time allotments for Mathematics, English, Science and Social Studies meet or exceed the prescribed minutes of instruction per course. The Churchill Softball Academy strives for all students to achieve academic excellence. Students also take courses in Home Economics / Industrial Arts and are provided with opportunities to join all extra-curricular activities at the school.
The Softball Academy is also designed to complement and enhance skill development opportunities within the current Softball Canada branches. Academy students will earn two credits. The Softball Academy course is connected to a Softball credit [sic] along with a Physical Education credit. The Physical Education credit hours will take place at both Collège Churchill and the Qualico Sport For Life Training Centre. |
